Policy Statement: Harassment of any type, sexual or otherwise, is not tolerated. The result of the first substantiated offense is a warning, a referral record, and the imposition of the contract below. The second substantiated offense will result in a three-day suspension and a referral record. The third offense will result in the student being subject to an involuntary, alternative placement.

The following contract shall be imposed after the first referral for harassment. If exonerated, the accused may request that it be expunged.

I understand that a referral with a possible consequence, if substantiated, has been entered in my file to document this first incident and that copies have been given to my parents and the Pacific Grove Police Department. I have read and understand the Pacific Grove High School policy above.

My signature is not necessarily an admission. I understand my right to respond and defend against the accusation. However, I readily agree not to harass any other student. Should I eventually be cleared of the accusation, I have the right to ask that the record be expunged.
