PHYSICAL EDUCATION

DESCRIPTION     Required for freshman and sophomores, this program consists of team sports, individual sports, swimming and developmental activities. This program is fitness based and includes weight training instruction.

 

STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING P.E.

DESCRIPTION     The program will place an emphasis on personal fitness and strength building. One year of this course may be used as a partial fulfillment of the two year physical education requirement.

 

DANCE

DESCRIPTION   This course will teach the basic foundations of dance movement as a core and the basis for various styles of dance. Emphasis will be on dance technique, use of space, time, and energy as related to movement and music.
