INTERACT CLUB
PACIFIC GROVE HIGH SCHOOL
Interact is a service and social club for Pacific Grove High School Students. The first Interact Club was founded on October 28, 1962. Today, There are more than 6,000 clubs around the world, each sponsored by a Rotary Club. The Pacific Grove Rotary Club sponsors the Breakers' Club. While the Rotary Club provides guidance and inspiration, the youth clubs are self-governing, giving members a chance to develop a range of leadership skills while learning the value of teamwork. The PGHS chapter carries out at least two service projects per year. One serves the school or community, while the other furthers international understanding.
The officers for the year 2007-08 are President; Laura Aung, Vice President; Baily Lundy, Secretary/Treasurer, Molly Speacht. The Board of Directors are Alec Spears, Ashley Shaffer, Chip Hall, Jackie Carpenter, Jenny Xiao, Keely Scates, and Martha Davis.
